Why We like It

Explore the Puro Sound Labs PuroQuiet, a set of kid-friendly headphones.

It features an internal volume control mechanism that aids in hearing protection.

The headphones include a dynamic noise-canceling function with long battery life and may be used wirelessly or wired.

The Puro Sound Labs PuroQuiet ANC Headsets are kid-sized headphones with all the features and advantages of an adult headset.

There are a variety of kids’ headphones available, but frequently the distinctions are limited to size and style.

However, certain headphones, like the Puro Sound Labs PuroQuiet, come with a volume limiter to prevent them from being excessively loud in addition to being suited for children.

It’s advised that you use earplugs to maintain the health of your children!

Microphones

The ANC switch mutes the outside world so that children may hear well in noisy settings without having to turn up the volume above the recommended safe listening levels.

In this way, you can have one of the best noise-cancellation microphones.

Along with 78 percent noise isolation (@ 1 kHz), these headphones reduce the background noise and everyday noise by up to 22 dB.

Children’s Hearing Safety:

According to several organizations, the maximum recommended sound exposure level is 85 dB at a specified volume.

The loudness is subtly limited by sophisticated digital signal processing so that listeners are unaware of it.

For children, and teenagers, they are the ideal lightweight headphones with safer sound.

Bluetooth-Enabled

With a 30-foot range and one-touch Bluetooth connection with iPhones, Android, and other portable devices, having to listen is hassle-free.

All risks of being tangled in audio cords are gone while using the wireless mode.

These Puro Sound headphones are excellent with their built-in Bluetooth-enabled microphone.

Durable Batteries

Enjoy 200 hours of standby time and 35 hours of gameplay without ANC.

The PuroQuiet is more than capable of withstanding all-day play.

You can now utilize the USB cord that comes with it to rapidly charge the lithium-ion battery, or use the volume-limiting audio connection to convert to wired use.

Sound quality

They sound louder at a lesser intensity than other headsets because of the balanced sound quality of the headphones.

They offer a natural, warm tone with full bass (not large and booming), just as the adult version Puro originally produced, and they are suitable for music, movie, and TV conversation, and also suitable for gaming.

They stay like a cloud on your head, they provide a discrete way to delve deeply into your music.

Music Experience

The Philips headphones enable a somewhat more customized music experience.

You may adjust the sound profile of your headphones and change the amount of noise cancellation.

Enjoy ultra-luxury as these earbuds feel as deluxe as they sound – thanks to their sleek, lightweight aluminum, Scottish Muirhead leather, and matte black satin ear-cup rings.

The design is opulent, with a metal headband and frame, leather padding, and soft-touch plastic earcups.

The floating earcups are attractive in their metal frames, and the black and grey color scheme shows that sometimes less truly is more.

Control App

Additionally, Philips offers a control app in which you can access the Adaptive ANC settings and view everything in one place.

This automatically identifies what it believes you are doing and modifies the ANC level accordingly.

Although it’s rather innovative, we discovered that the standard ANC met our purposes just fine and provided easy access to transparency when needed.

Talk Thru Technology

Talk Thru Technology of UA Sport Wireless Train enables you to converse with others in the gym without removing your headphones.

And of course, this is one of the primary advantages that UA Sport Wireless Train promotes.

Sound

These UA Sport Wireless Train headsets are for bass enthusiasts.

That is not to argue that the JBL UA Sport Wireless Train is limited to bass.

The performance is incredibly amazing, with a good representation of the mids and highs.

8) – Audio-Technica ATH-M50xBT2 Wireless Over-Ear Headphones

  • Low latency mode
  • Premium audio-grade components, including an AK4331 advanced audio DAC and dedicated internal headphone amp, deliver pure, natural sound.

Cons
  • I felt that the bass could have been better

Why We like It

The wireless over-ear ATH-M50xBT2 headphones from Audio-Technica have a constant battery power of more than 60 hours.

They sound much more neutral and less boomy.

The Audio-Technica ATH-M50xBT2 headphones are expertly constructed.

They feature a fairly comparable structure to their previous iteration, with the exception of the yokes, which seem somewhat less solid than the rest of the headphones.

The faux-leather padding’s texture has changed somewhat, and the only difference is that it now has a bigger, more obvious flat grain than its predecessor had.

Bluetooth

The ATH-M50xBT2 utilizes the most recent Bluetooth technology and provides the same sound in a wireless packaging, building on the acclaimed ATH-M50x headphones’ sonic prowess.

Audio Quality

The integrated AK4331 sophisticated audio DAC/amp from AKM produces outstanding clean, high-fidelity sound, and the 45mm large-aperture speakers give powerful and accurate bass responses for a satisfying listening experience.

They provide amazing good clarity and openness, in part due to a high-quality DAC inside and in part because of their huge 45mm drivers, but their sturdiness of sound is classic.

Battery Life

The wireless over-ear ATH-M50xBT2 headphones from Audio-Technica have a prolonged standby time of more than 60 hours.

They sound much more neutral and less boomy.

Low-latency Mode

A few additional capabilities are also included with them, such as multi-device pairing and sound tweaking using a companion app.

The new “Low Latency Mode” barely makes a dent in their Bluetooth performance.

Additionally, USB-C is now used to charge the headphones instead of micro-USB.

Connectivity

The Audio-Technica features a tracking feature, playback control, and firmware update options available.

Additionally, the app shows the current audio codec and battery level, and the available options are the same as in the previous version.

In addition to SBC and AAC, these over-ears feature Sony’s high-resolution Bluetooth codec LDAC.

Buyers’ guide for Most Durable Headphones

Durability

This one goes without saying

Here we are talking about how strong your headphones are and how long they last.

This will be driven by design and materials

I like to watch Youtube videos and see reviewers stretch their headphones to see how strong they are.

The bigger brands like to make their headphones of metal underneath and then cover them with higher quality plastics.

Construction materials

Headphone casings and headbands are typically made from plastics, metal, and wood.

Metal in my opinion is the most durable of these materials

That said, irrespective of the materials used, most higher-end headphones from the big brand manufacturers are well put together.

In so far as construction materials are concerned, one has to balance design preferences, comfort, and durability

Replacement Parts and carry case

If your headphones support replacement parts, then you don’t have to buy an entire headset should a part get lost.

In addition, if the replacement part is supported, then should the original part get damaged or lost, the headphones won’t get damaged and can be replaced via insurance.

A carry case offers extra protection as well.

A carry case allows you to travel with your headphones and ensures that they will not get damaged.

Therefore Should they fall your headphones will also get extra protection?

Headband Type

One thing to consider when buying a durable headphone is the type of headband.

Pro-style headphones can carry some extra weight and are sometimes bulky, particularly when being used for long periods of time.

lightweight headbands tend to be more comfortable and are much easier to carry around.

Battery Life

There is no use having great-sounding headphones that do not go the distance when it comes to battery life.

Because we are always on the move, we want to e able to use our headphones without bulky wires.

Sufficient battery life and improved performance mean you can enjoy long runs and have less fuss with charging.

Cables

Cables, particularly, audio wires with the jack can be great for sound, however, they are prone to get twisted, folded, and tugged.

Many headphone cables are cheap and not durable.

The best headphone cables are often braided, fabric, or flat cables, as they can rub much better and are less prone to tangling.

To the extent that they do get tangled, they can be easily worked out.

Detachable cables are also a great option, as they place less strain on the connecting parts.

The advantage is that, if the cable does get worn out, it can be replaced without needing to replace the whole unit.

Read more on the different types of cables and their durability factors in our article.

IP Rating

IP Ratings

The level of water resistance can be measured by IP ratings.

According to https://www.everythingrf.com

An IP rating or a product’s Ingress Protection number is what defines the level of protection provided to that product.

An IP rating is a two-digit number, and each number signifies a different level of protection.

The first number after IP, which ranges from 0 to 6, defines the component’s protection against solid objects like dust and sand.

The second number after IP, which ranges from 0 to 8, defines the component’s protection against liquids.

For example  IPX8 vs IP68 Ratings, IPX8 means that the product is not tested for protection against solid objects (dust) but it is fully resistant to water while IP68 means that it is fully waterproof and dustproof.

Source: https//:speakersmag.com

For more information on IP Ratings Please refer to the following link from https://www.everythingrf.com

For our purposes, we will be looking at protection from liquids (water)

Generic IP Ratings (Protection against liquids) and Explanation
  • IPX0: The product offers no special protection from water.
  • IPX1: Can resist water that drips vertically onto the product.
  • IPX2: Can resist water that hits the product at a 15° angle or less.
  • IPX3: Can take water sprays of up to 60°.
  • IPX4: Is resistant to water splashes from any direction.
  • IPX5: Can resist a sustained, low-pressure water jet spray.
  • IPX6: Can resist high-pressure, heavy sprays of water.
  • IPX6K: Can resist water jets of extremely high pressure. Rarely used.
  • IPX7: Can be submerged up to 1 meter in water for 30 minutes.
  • IP57 Verified to withstand fresh water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.
  • IPX8: Can be submerged deeper than 1 meter. The exact depth is specified by the manufacturer.
  • IP67: Complete protection against ingress of dust and airborne particles. Protection against water and liquids, up to and including immersion in up to one meter of water.
  • IP68: Devices backed by an international standard rating of IP68 are deemed fit enough to withstand dust, dirt, and sand, and are resistant to submersion up to a maximum depth of 1.5m underwater for up to thirty minutes.
  • IPX9K: Resists high-pressure, high-temperature sprays at close range.

Source: https://www.jabra.com/blog/waterproof-or-water-resistant-whats-behind-an-ip-rating/, Samsung and other internet sources.

The above ratings indicate that an IPX5/6 rating should be sufficient for protecting headphones from your shower water.

The caveat to this is that this should be sufficient if you take relatively low-pressure showers and only for a few minutes (5-10) at a time.

If you take long showers above 5-10 minutes and at relatively high pressure, then I would suggest headphones with an IPX 7 rating and above.

Warranty

Warranties keep you covered in case of accidents and repairs, and are an indicator of how durable your headphones are.

Longer warranties are a great indication of a manufacturer’s confidence in the sturdiness of their products.

Reliable products usually include a 12-month warranty, so do not settle for anything less

More established brands offer warranties of or more years.

The Bottom Line

Ultimately, you want a durable headset that is versatile.

If you want a quality set of durable headphones you should look for headphones that have a good IP rating, strong cables, a Light but firm headband, replacement parts, a carry case, durable and strong construction materials.

If you are still unsure of which is best – This is our pick.
